TheWrap is seeking an energetic and motivated Video Production Manager to lead video at the company. The Video Production Manager is in charge of overseeing video output on our platform as well as overseeing video projects from concept to post-production & delivery. This includes red carpets, film festivals, talent interviews and live events, which are all part of this exciting opportunity, as well as bringing knowledge around how video best performs on the web.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Wrap internal teams to understand the project requirements and objectives.
• Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality videos that align with our brand and vision.
• Manage all aspects of video production, including lighting, sound, and camera operation.
• Ensure the final videos are engaging, visually appealing, and meet the project’s goals.
• Incorporate feedback from our team to make necessary revisions.
• Deliver the final video files in the required format and resolution.
• Manage and oversee video pre-production planning and on-site production activities for video clients

• Deliver high quality product on time and within budget
• Anticipate and respond to needs and requests from clients
• Supervise additional staff during video production
• Ensure all projects are on schedule
• Identify best practices for video and evolve daily operations as necessary
• Oversee video collection to ensure all media is archived appropriately and can be readily obtained
• Work closely with Wrap editorial and social teams to best merchandise video content
• Ensure consistency in branding, style, and tone across all video assets.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in video editing and production techniques.
• Experience with live-streaming events

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of shooting and editing videos
• Demonstrated skill with video editing software platforms, specifically proficiency with Adobe Premiere CC in conjunction with other Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, Media Encoder, etc.)
• Extensive knowledge of video production equipment
• Excellent organization, planning, and communication skills
• A collaborative mindset and ability to work with varying and changing needs
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Hybrid in-office / wfh
• Ability to work off hours as required by demands of media/entertainment industry schedule
• Experience with social media content creation and YouTube live-streaming
• Must provide an online demo reel/portfolio showcasing previous work upon applying.

Typical salary range for this position is $100,000-$110,000 based on experience.
