Job Description

Location: This is a remote role and open to candidates throughout the U.S. 

General Function and Primary Objective(s): SCRGs growing North American search practice seeks a Technical Recruiter to help shape, build, and scale the organization. The technical recruiter will manage a diverse set of search projects which could include senior or junior positions within electronics hardware manufacturing, hardware engineering, consumer and industrial electronics, and medical and environmental device manufacturing. You will work closely with our customers' hiring managers and have ownership of the entire recruiting process including qualifying requirements, sourcing, recruiting, and closing the best fitting talent for our customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The following includes but is not limited to the duties and responsibilities; other tasks may be assigned.

Full cycle recruiting:

  • Collaborate with SCRGs clients to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies to identify and secure top talent.
  • Source passive and active candidates through various channels such as LinkedIn, job boards, social media, professional networks, referrals, and cold calling.
  • Screen resumes and conduct thorough interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews with stake holders.
  • Utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage candidate pipelines and track recruitment metrics.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment to continuously improve recruitment strategies and processes.
  • Represent SCRG in community and recruiting events when necessary.
  • Provide support with any necessary process and document creation.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience with technical recruiting in a variety of engineering and hardware roles in the electronics manufacturing industry (EMS), consumer electronics, medical, biotech, etc.
  • Extensive personal network in related industries is a plus.
  • Experience working in a search, recruiting, placement or scouting firm is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of full cycle recruitment processes, techniques, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, analytical, and research skills Flexibility to work with changing priorities based on client needs.
  • Passion for driving quality in everything you do.
  • Familiarity with MS Office suite.

Required Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree
  • Proven experience as a Recruiter or Talent Acquisition Specialist, with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in full-cycle recruiting
