Description - Looking to bring on an Entry Level Process Engineer to join the team in May 2025.
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team for multiple projects.
- Work under the supervision of a more senior process engineer to:
- Develop the heat and material balance for new projects using process simulation tools. Perform equipment sizing calculations and prepare equipment data sheets.
- Perform detailed hydraulic calculations to determine pipe sizes, control valve sizing, compressor and pump duties, etc.
- Perform facility overpressure protection calculations, PSV sizing, and documentation with supervision.
- Develop Design Basis for new projects.
- Develop Process Control Narrative document and support Cause & Effect document.
- Create process flow diagrams (PFD) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
- Participate in safety reviews, HAZOP/PHAs and PSM activities.
- Maintain effective communication with project team members and with clients, vendors, and contractors.
- Participate in the preparation of proposals for engineering services. Support schedule planning for projects including coordinating staffing resources with Process Engineering Manager.
- Support construction, commissioning, and start-up efforts, draft operating procedures and provide operator training manual input.
Qualifications We do not sponsor employees for work authorization in the U.S. for this position. Essential skills and experience:
- BS in engineering with a graduation date by Spring 2025 from an ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission-approved program with a strong academic background.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required as well as a professional demeanor.
- Excellent teamwork skills.
- Able to travel as necessary for client meetings, job site visits, start-up activities, off-site training, industry related conventions/seminars, etc. (up to 20% travel).
- This position is located in Englewood, CO or in Westminster, CO.
Valued, but not required:
- Oil and gas industry experience in midstream and/or upstream.
- Skills in HYSYS, Synergi, VMG Symmetry, and/or ProMax preferred.

Award Winning Compensation & Benefits Salary Range $72,000 - $82,000
