A2Z Medical Billing services is a leading provider of medical billing and coding services across the healthcare industry. We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Giver / Home Health Aide to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential home care services to our patients, ensuring their comfort, well-being, and overall quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patients for any side effects or adverse reactions
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks, following dietary guidelines and restrictions
• Manage and assist with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying up patient living spaces
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, engaging in conversation and recreational activities
• Transport patients to medical appointments, social outings, or other necessary destinations
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and observations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Home Health Aide certification or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Care Giver or Home Health Aide
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing patient needs
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
