Job Description

Acara Solutions has a temp Data Entry Clerk role available with our client in Torrance, CA. This is an onsite role with a 9/80 schedule (every other Friday off), paying $18-20/hr, DOE.

Summary of the need for this role:

An entry level data entry clerk is needed on a full-time temporary basis for the Quality Department.  This person will be responsible for recordkeeping, data inspection and supplier certification.  This person will be work in parallel as the department looks to outsource Document Control; however, until this process is finalized, there needs to be someone in place to complete the function. The review is expected to be completed within the 4- 6 months. Once this is determined, the decision will be made regarding this position potentially converting to permanent.

• Under the guided direction of the department or work cell supervisor or manager, employee will work as a team member within an assigned work group to produce or process microwave products in an environment of continual process improvement.
• Sets up and operates equipment or developmental microwave tubes.
• Performs general administrative support tasks in such functional areas including, but not limited to, finance, legal, program management, procurement, sales, and contracts.
• Prepares documents, spreadsheets, reports and presentations.
• Creates and/or maintains appropriate logs, databases, inventories, filing (hard or soft copy), status reports/tracking.
• May perform some research or data analysis tasks.
• Takes and delivers messages, provide information to callers, distribute and route mail, packages and paperwork.
  Other duties may include, but not limited to the following:
• Responsible for Quality Data Entry.
• Responsible for record keeping utilizing high speed scanner.
• Responsible for supporting quality administrative as needed by the team.

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

Requires 2 or more years of prior related experience.
High school diploma or GED

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Familiar using of high-speed scanner.
