Job Description

Busy medical practice is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant. 

Candidate must have a stable work history, good work ethic and a positive attitude. Must be dependable, flexible and a team player and be able to provide 3 professional references.

Job Responsibilities include:

• Rooming patients
• Taking patient vital
• Assisting with scheduling labs, diagnostic studies and appointments.
• Labs – chart labs, review for critical values, notify physician as needed.
• Preparing charts for office visits – obtain pertinent medical records prior to time of visit.
• Updating patient documentation – medication list, patient phone calls, etc.
• Managing critical labs for assigned physicians
• Answering phones
• Scheduling appointments

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a physician’s office
• RMA or CMA certification
• Dependable transportation to travel to our different locations
• Critical thinking
• Ability to work independently, but also in a team environment
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Travel between locations
• Experience with Epic (Preferred but not required)

Benefits

Part-time Role; Monday-Friday (20+ hours a week)

$17.00 - $19.00/hr
